Opening of the festival "Classics in Kuskovo"
Antonio Vivaldi
Museum-Estate "Kuskovo"
Palace
St. Youth, d. 2
The first concert of the festival is dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi. Creating concerts for solo instruments and orchestra, Vivaldi seemed to assert by them the right of instrumental music to its own sound and its own laws, different from vocal music. Despite the outward simplicity, Vivaldi was much ahead of his time, and it is not surprising that interest in his work is growing these days.
