Look at you, Carnival!
Ah, Ahov! Do not be afraid, there will be a great post for you.
A rich merchant, full-full of his box and chintz, and brocade, and money. And the money is for the bride.
I'm used to trading, and even love affairs go in the form of buying and selling. In the morning money is in the evening wife. In the evening the wife - in the morning money.
But he can consoled himself as much as he likes with the thought that money solves everything. I forgot that people are not a commodity. And for marriage, such a thing as feelings is necessary.
Who could have imagined that a nephew, passionately in love with a girl, would intervene in the event? One misfortune is that he is as poor as a church mouse.
There is a hard choice before a homeless woman: reluctant to marry a decrepit but rich old man and arrange a mother's life or give herself up to a sense of impatience and poverty, but the happiness to live with a sweet shop assistant?
But before the fateful choice are all participants in the events. How to be a mother? To sacrifice the welfare of her daughter or her happiness? A merchant? Continue to all tyrannize, seeking his own, or to accept his fate?
The young man reflects on whether to continue to humble himself before his uncle or get courage and send him to hell?
In the main place, do not eat each other.

“ Were at the play on March 8 in the theater branch. Ostrovsky does not age - the play looks modern today. Acting is good and professional. Pleasant audience, excellent communication. Liked everything! It was a wonderful holiday! It was also very pleased that the beginning of the performance at 18 o'clock. This is important for those who live outside the city. The play is recommended, it looks at one go.
“ In the Mayakovsky Theater, I was not 100 years old, but seriously, only 10. It coincided that after exactly 10 years I again go to the play in the branch in Sretenka. During this time, the interior has completely changed here. There was a convenient buffet, before it was just a table. And seats in the foyer, which usually a problem in all theaters, there is enough! Instead of the usual portraits of the Mayakovka troupe, the walls are decorated with figures of artists in everyday clothes - unusual. The play "Not Everything Cats Maslenitsa" Leonid Kheifets staged Ostrovsky's work of the same name in the Mayakovsky Theater in 2010, that is, it's already quite a run-around performance. But, I confess, this is the first time I've ever seen this play on stage. Ostrovsky in the theater is a classic, which I very much like along with Chekhov. I love their already old-fashioned Russian syllable, for the scenery, for the dresses of the heroines of that time, for never obsolete stories, sharp speeches. I'm glad that "Not all the Cats of the Carnival" in Mayakovka fully satisfied all of these my demands. I remind those who forgot, or tell those who did not know, the story in a nutshell: An elderly wealthy merchant in Moscow Ermil Zotych Akhov believes that everyone should bow before him, everyone should respect him only for being rich and genuinely surprised, When they give him a click on the nose - they refuse to marry a young, young girl of twenty. Dialogue between Ahov and his unfortunate bride Agnia must be read or seen by all today's rich papa - it's brilliant :). In general, Victor Zaporozhsky in the role of Ahov I liked this evening more than others. I really enjoyed it and did not for a moment doubt that he was Akhov! Bravo!
“ Spectal without tediousness, modern, good acting (especially in the older generation). 12-year-old grandson was satisfied
