Saint-Petersburg. Ugly duck5+
Story
G.-H. Andersen "THE SUFFERING LITERATURE". History.
The performance is the nominee of the National Theater Award and the Golden Mask Festival in 2006 in the nomination "The Best Performance in the Puppet Theater" and "The Best Work of the Artist in the Puppet Theater"; Diplomant of the XIV Festival "Theaters of St. Petersburg for Children" 2005
A fascinating tale about a small duckling, who was not born like everyone else. A long neck, long legs, short wings, "Macmac" instead of the usual "Krya-krya" - it was not accepted only by aunt's aunt-ducks and uncle-turkeys, but even by their own little brother-sisters. A poor duckling can only die alone on a frozen lake, and sadly watch the beautiful white swan fly in the sky. But a miracle will happen (you just have to believe it!), And a small ugly duckling will turn into a beautiful white swan and fly away with a swarm of swans to distant hot countries.
The main feature and, probably, the charm of the performance is that during the action not a single "human" word has been uttered, but the audience is clear and very interesting. Dolls, like living ducks and geese, bathing in real water with diving and splashing, "bird language" - all this causes delight and joy in the small spectators.
