“Ancient Greece” is a semi-fantastic story about how a sixth-grader Borya Vasilkov gets into Ancient Hellas. A boy comes to the library to collect material for an essay on Ancient Greece. The library is preparing for the upcoming repair: materials are already lying on the floor, cabinets are hung with film. A librarian engaged in packing books gives Bor a whole box of publications about Ancient Greece. Borya takes various books out of the box. When the boy finds Homer's Iliad, he tries to figure out the complex rhythm of the hexameter. The hexameter and the monotonous sounds of the beginning repair seem to euthanize it and immerse it in an unusual dream, in which the student accidentally becomes not only an observer, but also an active participant in ancient Greek myths.

Musician Ilya Borodin, together with director Elena Labutina, creates a sound score for the play inspired by traditional Greek motifs and antique instruments.
