In the best examples of Russian literary tales - Pushkin, Saltykov-Shchedrin, Shergin - not only the spirit, plots and images of folk art are reproduced, but also the folklore forms of the verse are used - the song, the spoken, the joke. They are written in a truly folk language and style, or verse, close in its structure to its folk forms. They often contain elements of other genres of folk poetry - conspiracies, lamentations, buffoons, songs.
Everything is concentrated in folk tales - traditions and beliefs, moral characteristics and ethical foundations, historical chronicles and the age-old wisdom of the people who created them, a universal means of education and a way to transfer all knowledge about the world, its laws and the person from generation to generation. This ensures the cultural continuity of the nation and makes the tale vital and modern at all times. They do not lose their attractiveness and crafty charm in the XI century.
