The Wind of Change program was created for the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution. The premiere took place on November 7, 2017 at the Moskontsert Concert Hall on Pushechnaya.
The influence of the October Revolution of 1917 in Russia on the fate of all mankind cannot be overestimated. It shook and in many respects changed not only the political, but also the spiritual, social and cultural foundations of mankind. New ideas also required new ways of conveying and implementing them. The creative community was one of the first to respond to this, proposing innovative, revolutionary forms of visual agitation and propaganda.
The bright, poster-like, accessible and optimistic art of the Live Newspaper - a theatrical performance based on topical situations - became extremely popular in the 1920s and 1930s. It actively used principles, forms and techniques of folklore theater and folk plays "Petrushka", "Boat", "Tsar Maximilian", which were close to the people, and others.
Having enriched traditional plots with new content, the work of theatrical troupes of "living newspapers", in turn, itself formed the basis of modern theater with its relevance and the absence of a "fourth wall" between artists and spectators.
In the program: songs, ditties, dances, tales of the revolutionary and after the revolutionary period.
