A. de Saint-Exupéry
Musical fairy tale
The fairy-tale of Antoine de Saint-Exupery "The Little Prince" is loved by readers of all ages, because, as the author wrote, "all adults were first children, only a few of them remember it." The touching story of a little boy who travels from planet to planet, learns the world and learns love and friendship, and the adults - the philosophical depth and aphoristic nature of the text.
The music of French composers performed by the Moscow Region Governor's Orchestra will become an exquisite continuation and addition of the author's text: the motley "Saint-Saens's Carnival of Animals", the sultry "Afternoon rest of the Faun" and the picturesque "Clouds" from Debussy's "Nocturnes", the inspired Waltz and the touching "Pavan on The death of the infanta "by Ravel.
Symphonic paintings, well-known for their vivid imagery, will create an amazing musical context for the fairy tale, while Exupery's original drawings and colorful video installations, broadcast on a large video screen, will help small viewers to travel together with the Little Prince.
Text from the author reads: Sergey Bezrukov / Grigory Firsov / Sergey Vershinin / Stepan Kulikov
