Classical Ballet Theater N. Kasatkina and V. Vasilev
This ballet is one of Sergei Prokofiev’s most beloved pieces. “The main thing I wanted to convey in the music of Cinderella,” wrote the composer, “is the poetic love of Cinderella and Prinz, the birth and flowering of feelings, the obstacles in his path, the realization of a dream.”
The interpretation of Kasatkina and Vasilev is very close to the composer's plan. In their production, the shrill expectation of a miracle and the very miraculous transformation of the main character come to the fore, which became a reality thanks to the magical help of the Fairies and the crystal shoe.
