Chopin's Day is a unique opportunity to hear live, during one day (!), All the masterpieces for piano and orchestra of the greatest romantics performed by excellent musicians. A conveniently compiled schedule will allow the audience not only to relax and exchange impressions between concerts, but also to enrich themselves with new knowledge by listening to fascinating lectures by the famous music commentator Lyalya Kandaurova.

The great works of the "piano poet" will be performed by outstanding pianists and rising stars, young laureates of international competitions. The main feature of the Chopin Marathon will be the inclusion in the program of absolutely all orchestral works of the composer - not only the brilliant First and Second Piano Concertos will be performed, but also other brilliantly written virtuoso pieces for piano and orchestra.

Soloists are young pianists, each of whom has collected his own collection of prizes from prestigious international competitions: Alexander Doronin, a student of the Gnesins Moscow School of Music (college), a laureate of the international pianist competitions. A. Rubinstein, them. V.S. Rachmaninov (Moscow), Moscow Piano Open and III International Vladimir Krainev Piano Competition; Alexandra Stychkina is a student of the Central Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky, the youngest finalist in the history of the prestigious Marguerite Long competition in Paris, laureate of the 1st Vladimir Krainev International Piano Competition and many other competitions.

The program will conclude with a performance by Elena Drozdova, laureate of five international competitions, including the F. Liszt International Piano Competition in Budapest. Her playing is distinguished by virtuosity, artistry and spontaneous temperament - qualities that are especially evident in the performance of Concerto No. 2 for piano and orchestra. In the reading of the pianist, this work will undoubtedly become a real revelation for the sophisticated Moscow public.

Chopin's orchestral works are performed by the Academy of Russian Music Youth Orchestra conducted by Ivan Nikiforchin. The disc of the orchestra with G. Galynin's works was nominated for the most prestigious international prize in the field of classical music - International Classical Music Awards (ICMA).

Each concert will be preceded by lectures by Lyalya Kandaurova, who is loved by the audience for her ability, tells in a vivid metaphorical language about any music, even the most complex and incomprehensible. The main topics of the lecture hall on this day will be not only the personality of the composer, the originality of his pianism, but also the difference between Chopin the miniaturist and Chopin, the author of large-scale opuses who reflected in his work the philosophy of musical romanticism.
