Performance of the DOC Theater
"This play is practically an interview with itself," Isayeva told one of the journalists. Mutual relations of mother and daughter, teenage complexes and how to deal with them so that they do not stay for life, the psychology of survival, the transformation of unhappy love into a happy one. Tsvetaeva's "Why I do not cry, because I laugh" is present in this play, as in almost all of Isaev's works.
The play of Elena Isayeva became the winner of the first dramatic contest "Actors" in 2003 and was also awarded a special radio prize of Russia. The radio play on this play with the author in the main role became the laureate of the International Festival of the European Broadcasting Union "The Prize of Europe" in Berlin. The version, written specifically for Teatr.doc, was one of the brightest events of Lyubimovka-2003.
