The Moscow New Drama Theater, in the new season 44 of 2018-2019, has launched a large-scale project that includes four main plays by A. Chekhov - “The Seagull”, “Uncle Vanya”, “Three Sisters” and “The Cherry Orchard”.

What plot can we consider complete? The story of any human life after all ends only with the end of his life. And while he is alive, we can safely assume that we know only a part, a fragment of this life. A huge number of meetings and acquaintances give us only micro stories from the lives of these people. And according to them we try to unravel what kind of person is in front of us, what is his fate and what part of the world does he make. Before creating a large story, the writer writes observations in his notebooks, which later become subjects for short stories, short stories and plays. But what if you look at the great plays of Anton Pavlovich, as a series of plots of small stories, according to which you can also form an opinion about people, their experiences, despair and ideals? That is, change the optics and, examining micro subjects in a microscope, try to guess the great fates of these people who are not very familiar to us ...
