Valeriya was 01 june on Your Chekhov

Were at the play with the seventh graders. I liked it very much. Harmonious and living combination of excerpts from the correspondence of A.Ch. With brothers, sister, Lika, illustrated with scenes from life. Perfectly conveyed the atmosphere of tender friendship and affection in the family. The theme of Lika Muzinova in Chekhov's life is well revealed. In the play there is humor, and sadness, and pain ... Bravo !!!

Story

Scenes from the life of Anton Chekhov in one act

The play "Your, Chekhov" was created based on a play written by the young actress of the theater "Et Cetera" Anna Artamonova. The play is written about the great Russian writer, about his youth, his family, his first love interest. Among the actors are the writer's brothers, his sister, the novelist Potapenko and the Beautiful Face.

The play "Your, Chekhov" participated in the contest, announced by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, became the winner and received a grant for the production.

Anna Artamonova herself acted as the director, who delivered a lively and sincere performance. It is a performance, not a literary composition, as it usually happens, when such material is taken as a basis. Anna Artamonova managed to attract young artists who rushed to this work without a backward glance. Maybe with the irresponsibility of youth, but they play all their famous heroes with utmost sincerity and authenticity, without any hesitation, and whether their well-known prototypes looked like that. And as a result, a very precise and piercing intonation of the performance arises, there is a certainty that everything actually happened. And there is a great love for these people who were so sublime beautiful, so gay and witty, so vividly felt and lively thought.

This performance for those who love Russian literature, who wants to learn more about the great Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, better understand it, rethink what is already known.

Cast: Fedor Bavtrikov, Anna Artamonova, Elizaveta Ryzhykh, Artem Blinov, Andrei Ivanov, Evgeny Tokarev, Kristina Gagua, Yevgeny Tikhomirov, Ivan Kosichkin.

Director Anna Artamonova

Production designer Pavel Ukhlin

Costume Designer Natalia Lysyakova

Review

Chekhov - beloved, dear, close, understandable ...

Four brothers and a sister, a nice, friendly family. In the summer - fishing, in the winter - Cossack songs, amicably, harmoniously: "It's full, you, snowballs ..."

And then - the first love: the sister brought her friend Lika back to the house ...

Then the young Chekhov will go on a trip to Sakhalin and return to our already quite familiar Chekhov, in a pince-nez, with a mustache and beard.

With Lika will have to leave, she will go to Paris with another writer. She will write letters, and Chekhov - will write to her in reply: sweet correspondence, where youth, and feelings, and mature reflections - everything is clear, everything is told - from heart to heart.
