“The Golden Collection of Russian Romance” is a concert in faces, in which everyone's favorite and ever-popular Russian urban romances and folk songs are played. (The refined transcriptions of Valery Kalistratov performed with brilliant mastery became the basis of it.) Well-known pearls will be performed - “Faded chrysanthemums”, “Two roses”, “Black eyes”, “Street, street” (though, as always, the Theater will offer its own, sometimes an unexpected version of the performance). But fans of this genre will have a unique opportunity to discover for themselves completely unknown masterpieces - the author of the transcription famous Sergey Obraztsov will sing the song “Look, Your Eyes are Clear”, incendiary “Hussar Officer” and many others. The highest vocal and acting skills throughout the entire concert, the soloists of the Moscow Choral Theater recreate a special, unique, delightful flavor, and each romance sounds like a sincere, deep love confession.

The Moscow Theater of Boris Pevzner is the first choral theater in the newest musical history. For twenty-eight years of life on stage, the team has developed a unique style of performance, proved its relevance and gained many followers and fans.

The theater was founded in 1991 by the famous conductor Boris Pevzner. His troupe consists of singers, actors, all of them are soloists, performing with their own concert programs. Many of them are laureates of international and all-Russian competitions.

Multi-genre theater. Each number is a small performance. Based on the traditions of chamber singing, the theater performs musical miniatures, immersing the viewer in a special emotional world. You can find yourself in the European Salon of the XIX century, in the Russian province, in a Jewish place ... Boris Pevzner seeks to embody musical cycles on the stage, united by a single artistic “core”. And a new genre is born, which has no analogues in vocal-ensemble practice - the “concert in faces”.

Another soloist of the theater is a piano. The pianist Elena Grechnikova enriches the artistic palette of the ensemble with the “orchestral” sound of the instrument. She is a full co-author of all the creative ideas of the maestro.
