The famous poet, the iconic figure of the Russian Silver Age Mikhail Alekseevich Kuzmin (1872-1936) wrote a play based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault's "Cat in Boots", bringing to the plot the irony and lightness peculiar to the Italian comedy of masks, while preserving all the plot lines.
