From May 26 to September 1, 2019 in the museum-estate Kuskovo, in the center of the wonderful park ensemble among ancient statues, gilded chandeliers and candelabra, traditionally the festival will be held "Classics in Kuskovo". In the Palace of the estate will be held twenty concerts, varied in subject and cast. The basis of the festival programs will be chamber and vocal music with the participation of soloists, ensembles and orchestras of Mosconcert. Among them are eminent performers, folk, honored artists of Russia, laureates of national and international competitions.

On summer evenings, under the arches of the Dance Hall, you can hear the music of the great Russian and foreign composers. Not only the best concert programs of the outgoing season, but also new ones specially prepared for this event will be presented to the public.

The festival will open with a concert dedicated to the 220th birthday of Alexander Pushkin. The soloists of Mosconcert and the Seasons Chamber Orchestra will include excerpts from Tchaikovsky's opera Eugene Onegin. Another anniversary program will decorate the festival poster - Offenbach for the 200th anniversary of birth. With music of Viennese classics - Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven - music of adjacent epochs - baroque and romanticism will coexist. Bach, Vivaldi, Rossini, Paganini, Albeniz, Granados, Piazzolla will present a panorama of classical music from the 18th to the 20th centuries.

The festival's programs are not limited to classical genres, in one of the concerts, in addition to baroque, rock will sound. Waltz, tango, bossa nova and other favorite styles and genres will not leave the audience indifferent. The works of the great Russian composers Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov will occupy an honorable place in the programs.

The unique interiors of Kuskovo, which has preserved the look of a country estate of the 18th century, create a special atmosphere for the perception of music from different eras and styles. “The enchanting sounds of the harp” underline the elegance and architectural delights of the palace. A walk in front of the concert through the main attraction of the manor - a French regular park with marble sculptures and ponds - will help you to distract from the bustle of the city and transfer yourself to the magical world of classical music.

Concerts will begin on Sundays at 18:00, on Thursdays at 19:00 in the Dance Hall of the Manor Palace.
