We watched in the "Mansion" the premiere play "Per Gynt" (Saturday, March 26). The game is wonderful. And the overall impression of the performance is the same. Not all, unfortunately, realized that the play takes place in the hospital for mentally ill people. There are hints in the course of the play, but it becomes clear already in the first scene, when one character for a long time monotonously beats against the wall. And what else to explain everything that is happening on stage? Futile search for the elusive self? Perhaps, and so ... And yet: an error in the text. Henrik Ibsen must, of course, be corrected. At the end of the day, darkness is not coming from the west, but from the east. So, or otherwise, look at "Pera Gynt" in the "Mansion", do not regret it!

Review

The performance is based on one of the most mysterious works of world literature.

It seems that all the conditions are given, all the characters are registered - take it and put the rebus, like a beautiful puzzle. But no matter how hard you try, you can not immediately put down the right word ...

And, it seems, just about now, it will turn out, but ... it is scattered all by multi-colored images-images, it stands like pieces of ice, leaving only a slight bitterness from the fact that the grain of truth was near.

After all, there is no heroism, no appeal or manifesto. There is only a road along which the hero goes, without regretting his legs, without fear of losing himself.

Or maybe he just has nothing to lose? Is not this unique "I" without which it is unbearably boring to live? Or maybe he goes just then to find out the answer to the question "Who am I?"

Why wonder if you can just join him in his journey to make an incredible journey - inside yourself and outside.
