"The Night in Valoni" (1988) is one of the first plays written by the popular writer Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt. Roman Viktyuk came up with a different name for the performance and pretty much rejuvenated the main character: it was done so that the audience did not in any way connect the emotional experiences of Don Juan with age-related reasons. A young, dazzlingly beautiful hero (Dmitry Bozin) appears on stage surrounded by magnificent ladies, with each of whom he is ready to make a pleasant affair. But all these fascinating, ironic and provocative games lose all meaning when there is true love.
Five heroines, blackmailers, personifying more than eight thousand seduced and abandoned women, are faceless and hysterical, but opposed to them the essence of another storehouse, sex and strength of mind - only it is capable of serious feelings, sacrifice and a worthy encounter of fate and death.
