It seemed to me interesting to write a play with a completely classical form (plot, characters, dialogs), with its own inner logic, but absurd at the same time. This combination of "conditionally normal", without zaumi, etc., dialogues and absurd content, I somehow carried away.
I was interested in this situation from the psychological point of view, especially the reaction of the main character to unusual events and conversations. But if I need to answer the question "What is this play about?", I would say that it is about the fact that something irrational, inexplicable, and irrational can intrude into the simple, measured life of the most ordinary person at any moment. will have to deal and somehow respond to it. And this may depend on the whole future life (or its termination).
