Ol`ga was 18 may on The Wind in the Poplars

On May 14 we were at this performance with my husband. I'm 62, he's 66, I'm disabled. left the second department for the first time in their life. we see ourselves in these unfortunate people, so it's hard to look at all this. The youth were having fun and my heart was breaking. I wanted to relax and unwind, but it turned out to be a bitter grief.

Uliya was 28 february on The Wind in the Poplars

Went to a large, multi-age company. I liked EVERYTHING, the actors played beautifully! The first act was a little tightened, there were too many pauses for the modern audience.

Oksana was 26 september on The Wind in the Poplars

Absolutely inimitable game, such intonational accents, such bursts of laughter. A profound subtext is replaced by simple-hearted explanations of the essence of the matter. Dog! My captain! gave a great mood, thank you!

Story

The play in two acts based on the play of the same name by Gérald Sibleiras

They gather daily on the terrace of the house. Everyone has his own past, but they inevitably draw to each other, discuss the news, jokers, make noise, make fantastic plans. They are no longer young, although they are not like the departing nature. Life excites them, hampers despondency. And those who took the sores are just an excuse for self-irony.
The compatriot J. Sibleiras - Charles de Gaulle said: "The dignity of a nation is determined by a sense of humor towards oneself." This quality is fully enjoyed by the heroes of the play, in endless skirmishes with each other the moments of their life flow, they dream of what can not happen and every morning they come to the terrace, like Beckett's heroes to a withered tree, realizing that ahead of them, like in front of them Each of us, is eternity.

The author of the play "The Wind Rings in Poplars" Gerald Siblairas is a modern French playwright. The independent work of J. Sibleiras - "The Wind in Poplars" won the 2006 Lawrence Olivier Award in the nomination "Best Comedy". Gerald Siblairas is almost unknown in Russia, which is not fair, because he has unconditional advantages. He is a master of witty dialogue, his sense of humor is certainly a philosopher and provocateur. His heroes are ambitious oddities, their self-irony is ruthless, and dreaminess is naive.

The story of the three eccentrics will be told by the wonderful actors - V. Vdovichenkov, M. Sukhanov, V. Simonov staged by R. Tuminas, whose direction is painting, the graphics he creates with the actors, and when the work is finished - the picture also leaves - the play Begins an independent life. So in this work, they are looking for answers to questions about eternity, pride, love, compassion, and in this multicolored is a powerful energy, which, we hope, will overflow through the ramp and capture spectators.

Review

Only old people and children can have fun for real. They have nowhere to hurry.
Veterans of the First World War live in the French orphanage for the elderly.
Three of them become close friends. Two of them have long been living in this house, and the newcomer is just getting used to living in a shelter.
Despite the advanced age, and all of them to seventy or even more, they have affairs in vain.
Write letters to relatives, find out which of them the nurse is more attentive, celebrate the birthdays of all the inhabitants of the house.
The state of health is not encouraging. One of the former warriors often faints - he has a splinter in his head. Yes, and other problems in vain. The heart will take it, the head will ache.
As they say, if at seventy you woke up and you do not have anything to hurt, then you died.
Friends are saved by a sense of humor, wisdom and care for each other. They endlessly tease each other, sometimes intrigue.
Of course, "the soldiers remember the past days and the battles, where they fought together." But also about the wives and mistresses are told so that you are heard.
They spend their days on the veranda, dreaming of climbing the hilltop sometime, where slender poplars grow. They are still attracted by the wind of wanderings.
You can push back the old age. It is necessary only very much to want.
