The play - a parable based on the novel by Gregory Kanovich was staged by Rimas Tuminas. What is it about? On the long way of life of the elderly Jews traveling from the town of Vilna to learn about the fate of the son of one of them who attempted to assassinate the governor general.

Many surprises lie in wait for travelers. The road to Vilno is long, but the memories of the past are longer, full of hardships and grievances, of death, which awaits everyone, about not fulfilled hopes, about losses that can not be recovered.
In this story, one story is the road to children and one meaning is the philosophy of life, where everyone has his own place. Everything is in these memories, there is no only joy and hope.
