To the king and queen of the city of Thebes, the oracle predicted that their son would kill his father and marry his mother.

In fear, they carried the newborn child to the mountains and left it there. He was rescued by a shepherd. Just sorry for the baby.

The child was adopted by King Corinth. He also gave him the name Oedipus. But the parents hid from the boy that they adopted him. When Oedipus grew up, he heard rumors that he was not the king's own son.

Oedipus was a brave and intelligent youth, he was not afraid to find out the truth. I went to the oracle to find out about my future. The Oracle said that he was destined to kill his father.

In horror from what is ready for him, Oedipus flies to another city. Along the way, he accidentally, in a quarrel, kills an old man.

Thebes suffer from Styx, a cruel monster who has settled in the city. Oedipus solved the riddle of Styx.

The monster rushes into the abyss. The inhabitants of Thebes, saved by Oedipus, proclaim it their new king and are asked to marry the widow of the former king.

That king was recently killed. The killer was never found.

So Oedipus will reign in Thebes until he learns the truth about the fact that he himself killed his father and became the second husband of his mother.
