The general's daughter, Julie, is celebrating a new year in the Moscow mansion. My father flew away to rest, she quarreled with her fiance the day before. He refused to tolerate her feminist habits. She would behave with him more punctiliously, but she does not want to.

In the country mansion, Jean, the general's driver, returns. He and maid Christina will spend this crazy New Year's Eve together with Julie.

Christina prepares dinner, then goes to sleep. But Julie is not up to sleep. She talked with a young and attractive Jean. She is interested with him. It is not as simple as it seems at first glance.

On the one hand, she is quite a modern, liberated girl, who is not shy of harsh expressions and rash acts.

And on the other - tender and vulnerable, touching and unprotected. She is so alone, so unhappy.

Julie and Jean spend the night together. It is not so important who of whom seduced.

Jean is already figuring out how to live on. He and the daughter of the general? Why not? He's an adventurer. It would not be cheap only.

“ For a long time they wanted to go to the play with Mironov's participation. And on December 4, 2015, they were on stage at the Theater of Nations called "Freken Julie", where besides Chubpan Khamatova, Mironova herself played. Whatever you say, but the talent of each of them manifests itself from the first minutes, and their creative tandem creates something unimaginable with the audience present (despite the fact that we have a more grateful audience in St. Petersburg and at least, the entrance to the stage is applauded as a token support and respect for the eminent actor, and in Moscow - not a single such reaction, and in the end, neither "bravo" nor ovations ....) The performance itself, though it has a social and class meaning, and brings thoughts about everyday things of any society without a temporary context, but subtly tenor humor and the very presentation of the essence of the performance to the viewer is beyond praise. I highly recommend to attend this performance, so with an indifferent mood after watching it, I think there will be no one left.
